Tree Trimming for Seniors & Absent Homeowners in Aberdeen, SD
A practical, local guide showing how Matt's Tree Service handles estimates, remote scheduling, emergency calls, safety and cleanup so seniors or out-of-town owners can get trees trimmed or removed without DIY risk.
Quick assessment and free estimates
If you or a loved one needs a tree trimmed while you're not able to manage the job, start with a quick assessment. Matt's Tree Service offers free estimates and will evaluate a tree from photos or a neighbor's report. We use that info to recommend trimming, pruning, or removal and to flag any hazards near the house, garage, power lines, or sprinkler systems. One customer noted that our crew showed up promptly for an elderly family member, assessed storm damage, and moved quickly to clean up — demonstrating how the estimate-to-action process can work for seniors.
Scheduling, remote approval, and out-of-town service
Remote homeowners can authorize work by phone or email after reviewing the estimate. We routinely respond to calls about storm damage from neighbors or property managers and can schedule work on short notice; customers have reported same- or next-day responses for urgent problems. Before work begins we confirm scope, access instructions (gates, narrow drives, stairways), and any request to protect landscaping or sprinkler lines.
Safety, equipment, and protecting your property
Safety is a priority for seniors and absent owners. Matt's Tree Service handles complex and tight jobs using specialized gear — including an aerial lift that fits through narrow gates and maneuvers on stairs — so we can remove awkward, hazardous limbs without heavy disturbance. Crews take precautions around roofs, power lines, fences and irrigation. Several customers have praised our attention to avoiding damage and using equipment suited to the job.
Cleanup, communication, and what to expect after the job
You should expect thorough cleanup and clear communication. Many clients report yards left clean with branches hauled away and stumps removed when requested. For seniors or absentee owners, we can coordinate with a neighbor or property contact for on-site decisions and provide before-and-after photos. If storm or emergency work is needed, call the same number used for estimates — we handle emergency tree service, storm damage clearing and related cleanup for Aberdeen-area properties.
